In the northern part of the Yucatan Peninsula is the island of Holbox, a wilderness on the shores of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Holbox is the island of calm, an ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

  • Holbox is located north of the Peninsula, 150 km from Cancun. For the free from Cancun to Valladolid, in the next village to Leona Vicario is the detour towards Holbox. Holbox is well indicated, there is no loss.
  • How to get there by public transport? From Cancun there is a bus (bus) to Chiquilá (coastal town from where the ferry leaves for Holbox) 2 hours trip.
