The archaeological zone of Tulum is an obligatory stop for almost all visitors to this Yucatecan land, one of the biggest claims for tourism in the Riviera Maya. Tulum is the postcard by antonomasia of this magnificent Mexican Caribbean.

The ruins of Tulum are located about 3 km from the town of Tulum, on the Riviera Maya.
Sundays are free for the national and residents with official identification. For 220 pesos you can enter from 5 to 7:30 in the morning and visit it without the crowd.
They do not sell drinks or food inside. At the entrance you will find all kinds of services.
Entry fee: US $ 6 Parking: US $ 10
How to get there by public transport? From Tulum pass groups on the main street. If you go from Cancun (the buses leave near the ADO terminal) you must get off at the last stop in Playa del Carmen and from here take another bus to Tulum (they leave from street 2 between avenue 15 and 20). You will have to get off at the entrance of federal highway 307. From here there is a pay-train that takes you to the entrance of the compound, 1 kilometer short.
There is an entrance by the road of the coast that runs parallel to the beach. You do not pay parking here.
It is recommended to wear light and light clothes, hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, closed shoes better and some water is always good. And do not forget the swimsuit!
