The ancient Mayan city of Edzná is one of the icons of the state of Campeche, one of its Mayan jewels. Its main building is worth the visit, one of the most important ancient cities in the region.

• Edzná is located 55 km southeast of the city of Campeche, from where it can be reached by federal roads 180 and 261.
• Sundays are free for the national and residents with official identification.
• Entry fee: 48 MXN. Show of light and sound is paid separately.
• There are services at the entrance.
• How to get there by public transport? From Campeche there are buses that leave you 300 meters from the entrance.
• Edzná offers light and sound show: at 20 in summer-autumn and at 19 in winter-spring. For the solstice and equinoxes they often make special schedules, with a large influx of tourists.
• It is recommended to wear light and light clothing, hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, shoes closed or attached to the foot and some water.
