Yaxchilán is a 10, this place offers an unforgettable adventure. To this magnificent Mayan vestige swallowed by the jungle one arrives navigating the Usumacinta river, current natural border between Mexico and Guatemala.

  • Yaxchilán is located 45 minutes by boat from Frontera Corozal. Frontera Corozal is about 3 hours south of Palenque, following the Fronteriza del Sur road.
  • They do not sell drinks or food inside. There are services at the entrance.
  • Cost entrance: 55 MXN entrance to the ruins. The boats are 10 people, you can share the total cost (about 600 mxn) among several travelers.
  • The boats to Yaxchilán leave from Frontera Corozal (45 minutes sailing).
  • How to get there by public transport? To Frontera Corozal arrive collective transport from the terminal of Palenque (3 hours aprox.).
  • It is recommended to wear light and light clothing, hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, closed shoes better and some water is always good.
