In the area near the city of Cancun we find several Mayan ruins that we can visit. The Meco is one of the old maritime settlements that you can visit.

• El Meco is located on the coast road of Puerto Juárez-Punta Sam.
• Cost of entry: 47 MXN. Sundays are free for the national and residents with official identification. Free parking.
• They do not sell drinks or food inside. There are services at the entrance.
• How to get there by public transport? The groups that go to Puerto Juárez depart from Crucero, in Cancún (8 MXN). You can take a private taxi (about 70 MXN from Cancun).
• Light and light clothing, hat and sunscreen are recommended.
